LO3: Feedback
Feedback from Nick Bax:
I presented my presentation for my festival idea to a head of ...., Nick Bax. He gave me some feedback that I will use when designing my final products to help them look as professional as possible. The feedback he gave me was:
I presented my presentation for my festival idea to a head of ...., Nick Bax. He gave me some feedback that I will use when designing my final products to help them look as professional as possible. The feedback he gave me was:
- Try to make the location obvious, as it could be seen as an
American festival.
- Use British flags maybe on the ticket and logo?
- Well presented.
Feedback from peers:
I conducted a questionnaire for some of my peers to answer regarding the presentation that I presented about my festival idea and its products. The results that I have obtained will help me alter my designs to make them appeal to the target audience. I will restrict the names on the back of the t-shirt to a maximum of three so the text is not too overcrowded. I will also keep the colour scheme the same but add a slogan so that people reading the poster for the festival know that it is American artists that are coming to Sheffield.

LO2: Designing the ticket
Here is the first mock up design for my ticket. I decided to split the information into two sections so that it will be easy to identify where the festival is being held, when, how much the ticket costs and the ticket number for entry to the event. The barcode has been included in the bottom right so that upon entry to the event the ticket holder can have theirs scanned, making entry quicker for all.

LO2: Designing the logo
I based my design on the 'Olympic Branding' font. I added the green crown on top of the 'i' to relate to the statue of liberty.
Self Reflection
So far I feel that I have developed an idea for a festival that has the potential to succeed and draw in many people's interests.

LO2: Font style ideas
These are fonts that I could potentially use in the design of my package. I chose a range of different styles, both serif and sans serif so I could have a variety to look at and compare to see which fit my style of festival. I decided to choose 'Olympic Branding' because the letters are flowing and relaxed, something that the festival 'Liberty' will be.
